KEWR Newark Liberty International MSFS update v1.6.0

An update is available for KEWR Newark Liberty International MSFS.

  • The new Terminal A is fully modeled and operational in the simulator, replacing the old Terminal A concourse.
  • Added Kearny Heliport (65NJ), a major helicopter base for operators in the NYC area, located about 4 NM northeast of KEWR. Find Kearny Heliport by searching for its name or code “65NJ” in the world map.
  • Added interior modeling of airside areas of terminals A, B, and C, including seating areas, shopping centers, cafes, and lounges.
  • Main terminals, hangars, and cargo facilities now have 4K textures and improved PBR effects.
  • Updated and improved structural modeling of terminal buildings, cargo facilities and hangars.
  • Added additional shuttle gates to terminal C, used by regional jets.
  • Updated liveries on static aircraft, which can be found in remote parking and cargo areas.

If you purchased the product from our site prior to November 16th, 2023, you will need to update to version 1.6.0 by re-downloading the file from My Downloads, and re-running the installation program. Uninstalling the previous version before updating to 1.6.0 may be done to remove obsolete files, but it is not required. Any future reinstallations from My Downloads will include this update.

If you purchased from the in-game Marketplace, please use the content manager to update instead.

Caribbean Airports: Trinidad, Tobago, and Grenada for MSFS v1.2.0 update

This update introduces 4k textures in the scenery, as well as an abundance of other improvements. See the list below:

Update 1.2.0

  • Textures for prominent buildings, such as main terminals and windows, have been redone in 4k for higher detail
  • Enhanced PBR effects on buildings, windows, and walls
  • Improved modelling on main terminal buildings and hangars, adding additional details
  • Enhanced night lighting on terminal windows
  • Added LODs for increased performance
  • Added elevation to Maurice Bishop Intl (TGPY)
  • Added VOR station to Maurice Bishop Intl (TGPY)
  • Removed duplicated car parking at Piarco International (TTPP) caused by an update
  • Added additional aircraft and equipment to hangars at Piarco International (TTPP)
  • Fixed window reflections on static helicopters at Piarco International (TTPP)
  • Improved details to main terminal at ANR Robinson International (TTCP)
  • Improved radar dome texture at ANR Robinson International (TTCP)
  • Shortened trees that interfered with a normal approach to runway 10 at ANR Robinson International (TTCP)
  • Updated static aircraft liveries
  • Improved runway markings
  • Due to the addition of 4k textures, the size of the package after installation has increased from 123MB to 391MB.

If you purchased the product from our site prior to July 26, 2022, you will need to update to version 1.2.0 by re-downloading the file from My Downloads, and re-running the installation program. Uninstalling the previous version is not necessary, since the installer will update any obsolete files. Any future reinstallations from My Downloads will include this update.

If you purchased from the in-game Marketplace, please use the content manager to update when it becomes available on that platform.

TBPB Barbados Grantley Adams International MSFS v1.1 update

An update is available for TBPB Barbados Grantley Adams Int’l for MSFS. This update adds the missing PAPI lights on approach to both runway ends, as well as fixes minor elevation issues.

If you purchased the product from our site prior to March 17th, 2022, you will need to update to version 1.1 by re-downloading the file from My Downloads, and re-running the installation program. Uninstalling the previous version is not necessary, since the installer will update any obsolete files. Any future reinstallations from My Downloads will include this update.

  • New and improved terminal windows with reflections and PBR effects.
  • Enhanced PBR effects on terminal buildings.
  • Corrected ground textures at Port Newark and Port Elizabeth, which were changed to grass in a recent game update.
  • Added vehicles to landside passenger drop-off area and to the roof of the parking garage.
  • Adjusted night lighting intensity.

An update is available for Caribbean Airports: Trinidad, Tobago, & Grenada MSFS. This update brings minor changes and bug fixes, and is for the Microsoft Flight Simulator version only.

This update has been replaced with version 1.2.0, which includes all previous updates.

Update 1.1.0 changes

  • Adjusted overall night lighting intensity

  • Added slight shine to static aircraft
  • Added approach lights to runway 10 at Piarco

Caribbean Airports: Trinidad, Tobago, and Grenada for FSX/P3D Released!

Final Approach Simulations  has released Caribbean Airports Volume 1 for FSX/P3D! Caribbean Airports Volume 1 features three airports in one package:

  1. Piarco International Airport, (POS/TTPP), Trinidad and Tobago
  2. A.N.R. Robinson International (TAB/TTCP), Trinidad and Tobago
  3. Maurice Bishop International (GND/TGPY), Grenada

All three airports are completely modeled, with detailed buildings, ground polygons, static aircraft, and photoscenery.

Features:

  • Detailed main terminals, hangars, and airport buildings, modeled as they appear in real life.
  • Over 30 custom static aircraft models (including 10 different airlines with up to date 2020 liveries) with several parking arrangements. User has a choice to include aircraft at terminals or remote parking stands during installation.
  • Custom non-animated jetways at Piarco International (TTPP). Jetways are positioned at appropriate heights for small, medium, and heavy aircraft.

KEWR Newark Liberty International FSX/P3D v2.0 update

KEWR for FSX and Prepar3D has been updated to version 2.0! As always, the update is free to those who have purchased the product already. To download the update, log in to your account and go to My Downloads.

What’s been changed in version 2.0:

  • Added the new Terminal One in its current under construction state. When the real Terminal One is completed in 2021, we’ll provide another free update depicting it in its operational state.
  • Complete overhaul of ground polygons improving textures.
  • Updated all jetways, adding more detail and enhanced textures.
  • Optimized static aircraft and ground vehicles for better performance.
  • Updated liveries on static aircraft to reflect real world livery changes.
  • Added user option for static aircraft parked at the main terminals, useful for those without additional AI traffic addons.
    Added the new cargo facilities at the northwest side of the airport.
  • Overall performance increase.
  • Fixed minor issues with jetway spacing.
  • Updated Kearny Heliport, adding new hangars.

CYOW Prepar3D update

An update is available for the Prepar3D version of CYOW Ottawa Macdonald–Cartier Int’l Scenery. The update is not necessary for customers who purchased the product after December 8th, 2019 from finalapproachsim.com or simMarket.

To update, select the download link below:

Download CYOW_1.1_updater.zip

Extract the compressed folder and run the .exe file.

The update includes the following fixes:

  • Fixed elevation issues which caused sections of runway 25 to disappear
  • Fixed taxiway signs which appeared over runway 14
  • Updated charts

Note: You must currently have the scenery installed for the update to work. This update is not necessary for the FSX version of CYOW Ottawa Macdonald–Cartier Int’l.
